Downhill skiing : the ski area
offers 90 kms of slopes around the hishest point of the resort : the Mont Lachat (2100 m).
There are 39 ski-lifts ( 2 cable-cars, 27 drag-lifts) and 49 runs varying in difficulty (3 black runs, 13 red runs and plenty of blue and green runs).
Boarders will find a custom built Snow Park where jumps and banks have been specially made.
Ski schools are available from 3 years up.
You can also ski in La Clusaz (110 kms of slopes) which is 6 kms far from the chalet. |

Cross country skiing : the skiing area consist of 20 kms of marked trails (both skating and classical) in the "Bouchet" valley (near the village) with a 7 kms black trail joining la Clusaz cross-country skiing area (tracks = 25 kms).
There is also a 12 kms track in Chinaillon (upper part of the resort, 4 kms from the chalet).

There are marked paths (25 kms) for pedestrians. You could also try snow-shoeing
accross forests or alpine meadows.
There is also anice skating ring and Night skiing every tuesday.
You will find a cinema, a night club and plenty of bars and restaurants in the resort.

Paragliding is possible from the top of Mont-Lachat (tandem flights and courses available).
And why not a flight in an hot air baloon?

An entertainment program is at your disposal at the tourist office each week with concerts, shows, torchlight descents, ski races, exibitions...
Several special events are also organised during the winter such as La Gran Pia, an international competition for sleigh-dogs with more than 800 dogs from all other Europe (january).
